ABOUT US
We are Little Heroes PPEC, a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care center located in Tampa, dedicated to providing specialized daytime care for children under the age of 21 with complex medical needs or chronic health conditions requiring skilled nursing and therapeutic services. Our experienced team—including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified therapists—is committed to delivering high-quality, individualized care in a safe, nurturing environment.
At Little Heroes PPEC, medically fragile children receive physician-prescribed support that includes nursing oversight, physical, occupational, and speech therapies, along with engaging activities designed to foster social, cognitive, and physical development. We help kids and families with child care throughout the day to make their lives easier while giving the children the opportunity to socialize with others and build meaningful connections.
Our dedicated professionals carefully monitor each child’s health, administer medications, manage medical equipment (such as feeding tubes and ventilators), and work closely with families to enhance each child’s growth, health, and overall quality of life.
